Trip to China: Chongqing and Zhangjiajie
Itinerary:
Day 1: Jakarta - Chongqing (MF8674 CGK - CKG 23:20-06:20+1)
Gather at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport at the designated meeting point. We will then travel to Chongqing. Upon arrival, you will be picked up and taken to the hotel for rest.
Day 2: Chongqing - Qianjiang (XX/MS/MM)
Upon arrival in Chongqing, we will visit Ciqikou Ancient Town, also known as Baiyanchang. During the Qing Dynasty, this town prospered due to its porcelain industry. Experience something new by riding the Liziba Light Rail Through the Building, famous for its train passing through apartment buildings. Then, we will take a group photo at the Great Hall of the People, a symbol of Chongqing's hardworking people and their determination to create wonders. Next, we will continue to Qianjiang and visit Zhuoshui Ancient Town, one of the famous ancient towns in the Yu area. Spend the night in Qianjiang.
Day 3: Qianjiang - Fenghuang (MP/MS/XX)
After breakfast, we will take a bus to Fenghuang. Upon arrival, we will visit Fenghuang Ancient Town, which has a legend about two phoenixes flying over the town and finding it so beautiful that they flew low and didn't want to leave. In this ancient town, we will explore Wanming Tower, Shwawan Scenic Spot, Ancient Stone Slate Street & Bar Street. In the evening, you can enjoy the beautiful night view of Fenghuang Ancient Town.
Day 4: Fenghuang - Yongshun - Zhangjiajie (MP/MS/XX)
After breakfast, we will visit Furong Ancient Town (including Boat+Battery car), which has a history of over 2000 years and is inhabited by the Tujia tribe. Located in Hunan Province, between Zhangjiajie and Ancient Phoenix Village of Fenghuang, this town is one of the most beautiful ancient towns, situated on a cliff with a waterfall that flows into the You River. In 1997, Furong was named Hibiscus Town due to the town being the setting for the award-winning film "Hibiscus Town". Our journey continues to see one of Zhangjiajie's landmarks, The 72 Tujia Stilted Buildings, famous for being built with wood, bamboo, and other local materials. These buildings were designed to withstand the humid climate and high rainfall, as well as reflect the lifestyle, customs, and beliefs of the Tujia people.
Day 5: Zhangjiajie (MP/MS/MM)
After breakfast, we will visit a Herbal Medicine Shop. You will have some free time to explore Zhangjiajie on your own or join an optional tour. Then, we will visit Junsheng Art Academy, famous for its sand paintings. Here, you can see various sand paintings on display while enjoying the unique beauty of each one.
Day 6: Zhangjiajie (MP/MS/MM)
This morning, we will visit Zhangjiajie National Forest Park. Here, you will take a ride on the Bailong Elevator, the only elevator in the world built on a mountain. The elevator will take you to the top of Mount Tianzishan, also known as Avatar Mountain. We will also visit Golden Whip Brook, located in the eastern part of Zhangjiajie National Forest Park. It is named after the Golden Whip Rock, a scenic spot along the 7.5-meter long river. Then, we will visit a Tea House for a tea ceremony at the designated time. After that, we will take you to the hotel to rest.
Day 7: Zhangjiajie - Pengshui (MP/MS/MM)
After breakfast, we will visit a Jewelry Shop. Then, we will continue to The Grand Canyon (including VR+Glass Bridge+Boat), located in Cili County, Zhangjiajie city. Upon arrival, we will visit the famous Glass Bridge in Zhangjiajie. Here, you can enjoy the beautiful natural scenery and fresh air. After that, we will do some shopping at the Latex Shop. Our journey will then continue to Pengshui by bus for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 8: Pengshui - Chongqing (MP/XX/MM) MF8673 CKG-CGK 11:05-15:40
After breakfast, we will return to Chongqing. Upon arrival, we will visit the Liberation Monument. Then, we will take a stroll along Liberation Monument Walking Street and Bayi Road Food Street to taste some of Chongqing's famous snacks. Next, we will visit Kuixing Building 1st Floor and 22nd Floor Observation Deck. You will enjoy the main view of Hongya Cave. In the evening, we will have a special dinner at Chongqing Pipa Yuan Hotpot, one of the world's largest hotpot restaurants. Finally, we will take you to Chongqing International Airport for your flight back to Indonesia.
Day 9: Chongqing - Jakarta (XX/XX/XX) MF8673 CKG-CGK 00:05-05:20+1
