ITINERARY:
Day 1: Jakarta ✈ Kunming
Meet at Soekarno Hatta Airport for your flight to Kunming. Known for its pleasant climate, Kunming is a city that is not only naturally beautiful but also rich in culture, history, and ethnic diversity. Overnight on the plane.
Day 2: Welcome to Kunming - Dali - Lijiang (B-Box /L/D)
Upon arrival, meet your local guide and driver and transfer to Dali. Visit the Dali Santorini, a unique European-style destination inspired by the beauty of Santorini Island in Greece. Afterward, proceed to Lijiang and check in to your hotel for a restful night.
Day 3: Lijiang - Balagezong (B/L/D)
After breakfast, head to the Giant Prayer Flags for a photo stop. These towering flags are a typical Tibetan cultural symbol. Next, visit the Yak Museum before continuing to Balagezong. Upon arrival, see the Phoenix Bodhi Tree and enjoy a Bonfire Party before checking in to your hotel.
Day 4: Balagezong - Shangri-La (B/L/D)
After breakfast, visit Bala Village, a Tibetan ethnic village that has migrated to the area. Next, visit Dolma Lhakhang, the only prayer room in China that pays homage to 21 Dumu. Then, visit the Echo Wall, Skywalk, and Glass Viewing Platform for a bird's eye view of Shangri-La Grand Canyon. Finally, visit Dukezong Ancient City, the largest and best-preserved ancient town in the 147 Tibetan regions of China. Visit Turtle Hill Park and the Prayer Wheel, which are both symbols of the park.
Day 5: Shangri-La - Lijiang (B/L/-)
After breakfast, visit the Napahai Viewing Platform. This seasonal highland lake is a unique sight to behold. Next, visit the Kalachakra Mandala, a spiritual and philosophical symbol of Tibetan Buddhism. Then, visit Songzanlin Monastery or Mini Potala, followed by shopping at a Jewelry Shop. End the day with a visit to Lashi Lake Wetland Park, a breathtaking ecological park with a combination of a vast lake, green grasslands, and natural marshes that is home to various migratory bird species and unique flora.
Day 6: Lijiang (B/L/D)
After breakfast, visit an Herbal Medicine Center and have a photo stop at Red Sun Plaza. Then, explore the charming Lijiang Ancient Town, a UNESCO World Heritage site that is home to the Naxi ethnic group. This town is known for its cultural diversity and is often referred to as the "Oriental Venice" and "Suzhou in Highland". Enjoy some free time to explore the Lijiang Water Truck, Square Street, and Bar Street.
Day 7: Lijiang - Kunming (B/L/-)
After breakfast, head to Dali to visit Dali Ancient Town, located at the foot of Cangshan Mountain and facing Erhai Lake. The town is known for its traditional courtyard-style houses. Then, visit Foreigner's Street, where you can find a variety of cafes, art shops, and a relaxed atmosphere that combines tradition with modern style. Take a photo in front of the Golden Horse and Green Peacock Archway, a famous landmark in Kunming. Enjoy some free time at Nanping Pedestrian Street and Nanqiang Market, the city's modern center for trade and entertainment. End the day with a restful night at your hotel in Kunming.
Day 8: Kunming ✈ Jakarta (B/L/-)
