This 7-day tour will take you to some of the most iconic landmarks in China, including the Great Wall of China, the Forbidden City, and Tiananmen Square. Experience the vibrant city life of Beijing and Shanghai, and discover the traditional way of life in the ancient city of Xi'an. With comfortable accommodations, delicious meals, and a knowledgeable tour leader, this is the perfect way to discover the wonders of China.
Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Beijing
Upon arrival at Beijing International Airport, you will be greeted by our tour leader and transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is free for you to explore the city at your own pace.
Day 2: Beijing City Tour
Start your day with a visit to Tiananmen Square, the largest public square in the world. Then, explore the magnificent Forbidden City, the former imperial palace of the Ming and Qing dynasties. In the afternoon, visit the Temple of Heaven, a UNESCO World Heritage Site famous for its stunning architecture and beautiful gardens.
Day 3: Great Wall of China Tour
Today, you will visit one of the most iconic landmarks in the world – the Great Wall of China. Walk along the ancient wall, take in the breathtaking views, and learn about the history of this incredible structure. In the afternoon, visit a local medicine shop, latex shop, jewelry shop, and silk shop, where you can browse and shop for souvenirs.
Day 4: Beijing to Xi'an
After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Xi'an. Upon arrival, you will be taken to your hotel. In the afternoon, visit the Terracotta Army, a collection of thousands of life-sized terracotta statues of soldiers, horses, and chariots made over 2,000 years ago.
Day 5: Xi'an to Shanghai
In the morning, take a walk on the ancient City Wall of Xi'an, which is the best-preserved and largest city wall in China. Then, visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, a Buddhist pagoda built in the 7th century. In the afternoon, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Shanghai. Upon arrival, you will be taken to your hotel.
Day 6: Shanghai City Tour
Explore the vibrant city of Shanghai with a visit to the Bund, a waterfront promenade lined with colonial-era buildings, and the famous Yu Garden, a traditional Chinese garden with beautiful pavilions, halls, and rockeries. In the afternoon, take a walk along Nanjing Road, one of the world's busiest shopping streets.
Day 7: Departure from Shanghai
After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight back home. We hope you had a memorable trip to China and we look forward to welcoming you back on our future tours.
